We are asking you to supprot Clear Lake EMS in teh FedEx Small Bussiness Grant Contest.
After a risk assessment of our departmental needs a serious problem became readily apparent. We are in dire need of upgrading our stretchers to the Stryker Autoload system. In published literature, the reduction injuries related to using power stretchers have shown an improvement in reducing the overall musculoskeletal injuries that are common when lifting and moving patients. Based on independent studies, report a reduction in patient, personnel and workers' compensation claims by 90-95%.
